Today’s Patent- Improvement in paper for packing
Packaging – sounds easy but in work is not that so and manly extra caution is needed for those products in which the chances of breakage is more. That’s the reason day-by-day different types of packaging styles can be seen in market with with new and improved packaging materials.
On 19th December 1871, ILL. JO-INES got Patent with the Patent Number US122023A for a remarkable improvement in paper for packing. Corrugated packing paper is the name of his improvement to make the packaging more secure.
Main objective of the invention is to provide means for securing the packing of bottles and vials by providing a single thickness of the packing material between the surface of the article which is packed.
It consists of paper, card-board, or other suitable material, which is corrugated so as to present an elastic surface that secures the article more. Another objective is to provide packing boxes instead of wrapping the bottles and vials, so that they can be surrounded by the same elastic surface. These corrugated packing are lightweight and stronger than other packaging material with the advantage of providing safe and secure packaging.
