Global IP Enforcement at Richmond
Global IP Enforcement at Richmond
Washington, DC
September 21-22 2013
In collaboration with our very good friends at the University of Richmond, Virginia, we are organising a seminar entitled “Global Intellectual Property Enforcement”. The seminar is designed to offer a practical guide to enforcement of intellectual property rights across a multiplicity of jurisdictions.
We will hear from leading private practice lawyers about the techniques they have used to ensure that their clients’ intellectual property rights are observed, including case studies demonstrating how they have navigated one of the most complex areas of litigation and regulation.
We will also have the latest views from academics, judges and regulators about forthcoming trends in enforcing rights at the borders.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, we will hear from our clients about how they enforce their rights when trading globally. Added to this is the prospect of Washington DC a little more than a month before the US Presidential elections, and all of the attractions of the Smithsonian, the National Memorials and Monuments, the centres of Government and the legal system and the natural beauty of nearby parks such as the Shenandoah Valley.
We look forward to seeing you in Washington in the fall!
The seminar will be held in English.
