TODAY’S PATENT – GOLF GLOVE
It is a well-known fact that a golfer’s grip is one of the most essential aspects of the game in order to get a good outcome. In today’s patent, we will talk about He Chung Kahng’s invention, “Golf glove” (US3930271A), which was patented by the USPTO on 6th January 1976.
The present invention relates to a device designed to improve a golfer’s grip on a golf club for maintaining the proper position of the fingers of one hand with respect to the other hand on the club during the entire swing of the golf club. The prior art gloves are directed towards maintaining a strong grip by means of the left hand and do not aid in maintaining a proper position of the fingers of the right hand on the club. These inventions are difficult to use and hard to manufacture as well.
The present improvement aims at improving the golfer’s grip by the addition of a finger pocket extending in the opposite direction of the normal finger. This invention is easy to manufacture and inexpensive.
