TODAY’S PATENT – WATER TRAP
Water traps are used in sinks and other drains, wherein they form a water seal that is comfortably secured together by a threaded connection. Gert Soderstrom received his patent for the invention, “Water trap” (US4254512A), from the USPTO on 10th March 1981.
The present invention relates to a water trap that is inserted into a draining gutter. This invention consists of a tubular drain member which is detachably secured to the surrounding drain structure.
The primary objective of this invention is to clean the underlying drainpipes in a simple and efficient way. Further, it also provides an adjustable and easily installed device that tries to solve any unforeseen issues or problems that might arise in connection to the invention.
