Today’s Patent – Rosin Oil Lamp
Now-a-days we can see many alternatives for lamps such as generator, inverter when there is no electricity. But if we go back to the history, we can see that, there are no such improvements and the use oil lamps are common.
Oil lamps come with a wick that burns oil to produce heat or light. They can also be used as decorative items.
In 21st November, 1854, L VAN BUNSCHOTEN., invented a ‘Schoten’, one type of rosin oil lamp which has got patent protection with the Patent No. US11979A by USPTO.
The key features of this invention is that its wick or burner will not be influenced by the surrounding current of the air, so that the rosin oil or the similar substances inside the lamp, that contain a large amount of carbon can be burned as well as the flame that comes out of it become more uniform.
