TODAY’S PATENT – AUTOMATIC SWIMMING POOL COVER
Covering pools dramatically reduces water evaporation and heat loss by up to 70%. In today’s patent, we will be talking about the invention of “Automatic swimming pool cover” (US4236258) by Roger J. Batstone which was patented by the USPTO on 2nd December 1980.
The present invention can be used in swimming pools with considerable cost and aesthetic benefits in order to upgrade the existing pools. This cover will provide a new vinyl surface as well as a designed cover feature in which way the existing pools can be upgraded without even emptying the pool. In many cases, emptying a weakened in-ground pool will cause complete failure due to the external hydrostatic pressure. The use of the automatic pool cover in such a pool may extend its useful life considerably.
The main objective of this invention is to provide a useful life and control the shape and dimension of the cover of the pool.
