Today’s Patent- Improvement in Tape Measurement
Imagine a world without “Tape Measurement”. We could not have measured the length of anything which could have ultimately caused a lot of problem and chaos. But thank god we don’t have to think like that, because this invention is available in almost every household. On 14th July, 1868 ALVIN JQIIFELLOWS, got patent protection on “Improvement in Tape Measurement”.
We are remembering this improvement and the inventor by making it our “Today’s Patent”. The improvement focuses on attachment of a spring click which will stop the main and primary spring to the central part of the main-spring barrel, so as to hold the tape at any desired position.
