TODAY’S PATENT – MULTI-STYLE GARMENT
Women desire to wear differently styled garments for various occasions which naturally increases their purchases and the economic burden. Due to a variety of styles, there are various confusions and ambiguity in deciding with respect to their choice. In today’s patent, we will talk about Lydia Silvestry Basaldua’s invention, “Multi-style garment” (US4062062A) which was patented by the USPTO on 13th December 1977.
The present invention relates to a garment that may be worn in different ways to produce the appearance of a plurality of different garments. The problem encountered by women is when there are several differently styled garments desired to be worn on a vacation. That is, the selection of garments is limited by the space available for packing. Moreover, if the garments are wrinkled or creased during traveling, the cost of ironing the same will naturally increase in proportion to the number of garments packed. As a result, the wearer will be severely limited in the number of different styles of garments that may be worn during a vacation.
The objective of the present invention is to provide an improved multi style garment that can be worn in different styles. This invention is a comfortable single garment that can be fashioned into a style suitable for a particular occasion.
