Today’s Trademark- North Face
In the year 1966, a small retail store was founded by two hiking enthusiasts in North beach of San Francisco named the ‘North Face’. The brand started with the mantra ‘Never Stop Exploring’ intending to contribute to explorers in their expedition journey and serving the natural wild lands.
By the end of the decade in the 1980s, ‘North Face’ was the only manufacturer and distributor in the United States with their vast line of premium, high-performance clothing, and equipment for outdoor activities. The debut of sportswear in the market called the ‘ Tekware’ to the inauguration of the millennium with their own line of trekking and trail running shoes, the brand owned it all.
In the subsequent years, the half dome logo of the brand began to appear in greater regularity on high-country trails and big walls which was the result of their determination and hard work over the years. The journey that started on the beach, is flocking beyond the clouds, with over 57 outlets worldwide. This certainly makes it to our ‘Trademark of the day’ with registration no.983624 under USPTO.
