“Michelin” is a leading French tyre manufacturer. Headquartered in Clermont Ferrand, France, today the Company has branches in 170 countries, has 111,700 employees and operates 68 production facilities in 17 countries which together produced 187 million tires in 2016. Michelin is the second largest tyre Company, after Bridgestone. Michelin is listed in the “Dow Jones Sustainability Index” and “Ethibel Sustainability Index”. Michelin’s invention includes Removable Tyre and Radial Tyre. The Company also participates in various motorsports such as MotoGP, Formula One and Endurance Racing. The Company has come up with various Guide Book Series, such as the Red Guide for Hotels and the Green Guide for Tourism. The Company has worked in collaboration with different Companies to come up with new, stylised and technologically advanced innovations. The Company has secured rank 207 among Global 500 brands of 2018, the Company has secured rank 1 in top 10 Tyre Companies of 2018.
