TODAY’S PATENT – JAC PAC
Sandra L. Ezell invented, the “Jac Pac” which was patented by the USPTO on 29th December 1981, bearing the patent number US4307470A.
The present invention relates to garments where the jacket or a backpack is designed to be used by cyclists, schoolchildren, skiers, joggers, or anyone interested in outdoor type activities. These are two separate pieces of clothing that cannot be used at the same time.
The main objective of this invention is to provide the warmth of a jacket in the early morning hours when some activities begin and are also used for carrying objects such as schoolbooks, etc., in the warmth of the afternoon. Further, it can be used as a backpack to carry lunch for cyclists or joggers. Therefore, it provides the convenience of both a backpack and jacket in one single article of clothing which is inexpensive to manufacture.
