Patent of the week-X-RAY DIAGNOSTIC APPARATUS
An X-ray diagnostic apparatus was patented by Kobayashi, Yoshimasa, Dhashi and Shumpei on May 15th, 2018, bearing Patent number US 9968326.
This invention includes an X-ray tube holding device which helps generating X-rays. It also has an X-ray detector which is configured to detect X-rays; A rotator, which holds the housing so as to be rotatable; an arm that holds the rotator and the x-ray detector and a tubular body which connects the X-ray tube holding device and a device away from the arm.
There is also a rotator driving motor which generates power to rotator and helps it rotate. Then there is provided an angle sensor that measures the angle of the rotator and also of the arm.
Then comes the processing circuit which includes many other circuits within itself. It has a data collection circuit, which reads out the electrical signal of each pixel of X-ray detector and converts it to generate a digital data; an image generation circuit which generates projection data, meaning, it generates fluoroscopic image based on plurality of continuous X-ray data; a Reconstruction circuit; an image processing circuit; an input circuitry which inputs various commands, pieces of information, selection, settings and the like; a storage which stores various kinds of data like projection data, X-ray image and the like; an interface circuitry; the driving control circuitry which periodically controls the rotator driving motor and arm driving motor; an X-ray control circuitry and a System control circuitry, which serves as the main unit of this X-ray diagnostic apparatus.
