Today’s Patent- Process of Producing Paints & Stains
On 14th June, 1947 Carver George Washington was awarded with a Patent by USPTO with registration number 1632365. This Patent was granted for his invention “Method of producing paints and stains”.
This patented invention talks about method of producing paints and stains form clay. This patent was a process patent and elaborately described, how from clay, which is easily available everywhere paints and stains can be produced. Carver was the first African American who was introduced into the National Inventors Hall of Fame. Born in a poor family, carver came a long way and had number of inventions to his credit. He got Patent protection over three of his inventions.
