Today’s Patent- Systems and methods for decoding card swipe signals
Many of us do not carry cards, for which we carry cards. These small, shiny cards, although tiny and shiny works magic and makes payment easier and less time consuming.
The technology involved in making this transaction possible is very interesting and inventor Sam Wen received a Patent protection over improved methods of for decoding card swipe signals in USPTO with Patent application number US8231055.
The card reader is made to reliably read data which is encoded in a magnetic strip of the card with minimum error in a single swipe and provide a signal that corresponds to the data read to the mobile device, which in turn decodes the incoming signal from the card reader and acts as a device to complete the financial transaction.
Such system enables a person to become either payee or a payer without having to purchase expensive card reader devices or software.
