The company was incorporated in the year 1988 in Hong Kong and became the largest PC company in China. In 2005, it successfully acquired the Personal Computer Division of IBM, which was the father of the PC industry. Later in the year 2014, Lenovo merged with Motorola and which gave Lenovo the tag as the “world’s third largest smartphone company”.
Of late, Lenovo has successfully acquired a market value of US$47 billion personal technology company with more than 57,000 employees working in more than 60 countries across the globe and as a result of which Lenovo has been justifiably pointed as the ‘Trademark of the day” and has received registration and protection from USPTO having registration no:1367145
